Course Description

The one day Health Insurance Exam Review Seminar covers state laws, rules, regulations, types of policies, policy provisions, clauses, and riders, social insurance, other insurance concepts and field underwriting procedures. During the seminar the student will receive a 24 page health insurance study guide with practice questions and a comprehensive diagnostic exam. The actual exam requires the student to pass both the Accident & Health - Iowa Specific Content test (30 scoreable questions plus 5 pretest questions) followed by the Accident & Health - General Knowledge Content test (50 scoreable questions plus 10 pretest questions) with a two-hour time limit.
